18th century Welsh oak hall Bench, the panelled back with low shaped arm restst and shaped returns, the whole rising on turned stile supports conjoined by stretchers, have an upholstered seat cushion and pillows. Done in silk upholstery with embroidery. This is in excellent condition for its age, sturdy and comfortable, The pillows are down filled. There is a small cap in one backboard 1/4" and a crack in one back board, very stable. This is 72" long x 42" high and 26.5" deep. This must have had a rope seat at one time you can see the holes in the front but it does not detratct from the beauty. I love the hand hewn wood and the patina aged wood achieves over time. less
