This elegant set of vintage armchairs and a matching sofa was crafted in England, circa 1950. The oversized living room suite features a pair of two tall comfortable armchairs with ears, curved legs, open arms with leather armrests. The three pieces are covered in red tufted leather with antique nailhead trim around the frame. The three-seat sofa has carved, walnut claw feet, and tight button tufts dot the seat, backrest, curved arms and front, the sides and back are flat, without the tufted detail. Traditional, antique nailhead trim highlights the front corners and the graceful curve of the armrests, as well as the back corners. The piece is in excellent condition with a rich patinated finish.
